votes between Dotson and Law. Too close to call. It's not over.
Hey, it's me... RANDY ECONOMY it is now Wednesday, November 07, 2007

In spite of ABC Unified School District Superintendent Gary Smutt's declaration tonight that ABC School Board Incumbent Louise Dodson has been re-elected to the ABC School Board, hold on to your "Oath of Office."
This election is not over.
Nope. Not even close to being declared "Official."
Several dozen, if not hundreds of late Absentee Ballots and Late Provisional Ballots still need to be processed and counted by the Los Angeles County Registrar of Voters Office. More results will be announced on Thursday.
Just 9 votes separate challenger Maynard Law from Incumbent Louise Dodson. Don't believe everything you hear at ABC School Board Meetings. They are not responsible for declaring who wins elections, or who is not elected. That is the responsibility of the LA County Reg. of Voters Office.
Stay tuned.

Hang on. It's NOT over. Computer glitch at LA County Reg. of Voters leaves ABC School Board race Undecided.

Hey, it's me... RANDY ECONOMY it is now Wednesday, November 07, 2007

This is a bizarre way to run an election. According to the Los Angeles County Reg. of Voters, a computer malfunction could mean that more than 20% of the overall votes in local elections throughout the County are not yet counted, yet it's website is declaring that 100% OF THE TOTAL VOTES are FINAL.

They told me to call back at 8 am on Wednesday, because they still need the "figure out what went wrong."

Only 9 votes separated fourth place leader Louise Dodson from fifth place finisher Maynard Law. Law could still be declared the winner over Dodson after all the votes are declared final.

Stay Tuned.

Here are the results thus far:
ABC UNIFIED SCHOOL GOVERNING BOARD MEMBER
VOTE FOR NO MORE THAN 4
SOPHIA M TSE 2,688 14.26
CELIA SPITZER 2,524 13.39
ARMIN REYES 2,365 12.55
LOUISE R DODSON 2,301 12.21
MAYNARD G LAW 2,292 12.16
SALLY M HAVICE 2,061 10.93
PAUL KAHNG 1,733 9.19
HOWARD Y KIM 1,602 8.50
DAVID N SHAFFER 1,285 6.82

TOTAL PRECINCTS 26
PRECINCTS REPORTING 26 100.00 REGISTRATION 47,853

Keep Cerritos College from going Extreme. Re-Elect Bob Arthur, Ted Edmiston, Tom Jackson and Elect Javier Garza

Hey, it's me... RANDY ECONOMY, America's Political Pirate it is now Monday, November 05, 2007

If you want "A Better Cerritos College" then do what I plan on doing. Vote for Cerritos College Board Incumbents Robert "Bob" Arthur, Ted Edmiston, Tom Jackson, and challenger Javier Garza.
Cerritos College is a Jewel for our community. It needs leaders, not "machine politics."
The last thing that College needs is for the "side show" that has consumed this campaign by challengers Martin Greenstein, Rosa Barragan, Tina Cho, and Tom Chavez to become the "real Cerritos College Board of Trustees."
The thought of these folks winning is scary.
Corrupt Union Politics is once again attempting to buy another election here in our community. Enough is Enough. The Federation of Teachers has spent over $150,000.00 dollars to take over Cerritos College with a group of left of center candidates that, like the ABC School Board Incumbents, all walk in "lock step" and as far as I am concerned, all with "lock jaw." Watch the results. Cerritos College deserves sanity and clarity.

If you want CHANGE in ABCUSD, vote for Sally Havice, David Shaffer and Paul Kahng

Hey, it's me... RANDY ECONOMY, America's Political Pirate it is now Monday, November 05, 2007

Today, if you TRULY want to change the ABC School District and Board of Education here, you need to do your Civic Duty and get to your Polling Place to Vote.

ONLY THREE candidates can be trusted with changing the corruption at the ABCUSD. They are all three Independent Thinkers and All THREE deserve our SUPPORT and VOTE.

Those three candidates are Former State Assemblywoman Sally Havice, Businessman David Shaffer and Professor Paul Kahng.

Three candidates for change. Havice. Shaffer. Kahng. The other two challengers are both noble people, but this election needs to be about TRUST and EXPERIENCE, and VISION.

Havice, Kahng, and Shaffer are each worthy of your vote.

We cannot AFFORD four more years of "Rubber Stamp Politics" from our ABC School Board.

Celia Spitzer, Louise Dodson, Armin Reyes, and challenger Maynard Law must not be allowed to turn our school property in cheap apartments. We cannot allow for our elected officials to become "pawns" in a game of "political Chess."

It's time to put People before Profit and Politics.

It's time for the Union Rubber Stamps is hit the road, once and for all.

See you at Marty and Gail's Grossman's Garage of Democracy!

Let Freedom Ring!

Shaffer, Havice, Tse, Law win On Line Poll for ABC School Board. Results thrown out on techno glitch. Paging Howard Kim.

Hey, it's me... RANDY ECONOMY, America's Political Pirate it is now Saturday, November 03, 2007

Ok.
In the infamous words of outgoing ABC School Board Incumbent Cecy Groom: "Stop laughing, Celia, and stop making that face."

David Shaffer, Sally Havice, Maynard Law and Shopia Tse are the "unofficial" winners of my On Line Poll. Congrats are in order. Winners receive the left over Gift Bags from my Baptismal from a couple weeks back.
I knew something would go wrong here.

The Results have been thrown out on the grounds of "tainted polling practices." Yep. Someone contacted the Fair Political Practices Commission. My poll was "inaccurate" according to some Sacramento big shot. I take the blame for it.
Candidate Howard Kim was not included in the list of candidates to choose from. The funny thing is this. Not one person NOTICED that Mr. Kim's name was accidentally left off the list of candidates to select from, except for a "Clerk Typist III" over at the FPPC "Secretarial Pool."
Now you know why we need stronger term limits in Sacramento.
Clerk-Typists are now calling the shots here in Democracy Crazed California.
Poor Howard Kim. My thoughts are with him during trying ordeal. His name is on the ballot on Tuesday. Howard is a good guy. I like him.
I checked with the LA County Reg. of Voters. Yep. There it is. "Howard Kim, Educator."
Educator? Wait.
I thought he was a Reverend at the small church in Gardena?

Hummm.
Celia Spitzer, who is seen above, is breathing a sigh of relief tonight in Shadow Park. Her Political Days still are now full of hope. Way to go, Cel!
Back to the Poll fiasco. The results are now "null and void."
The real Polls open on Tuesday at 7 am in your local 'hood. Vote only once. Vote for up to four candidates.

Cerritos Homeowners Alliance urges defeat of Spitzer, Dodson, Reyes and Law. Lable them "sell-outs" for "cheap apartments."

Hey, it's me... RANDY ECONOMY, America's Political Pirate it is now Saturday, November 03, 2007

(Pictured: ABC School Incumbents Spitzer, Reyes and Dotson)

Wow.

The ABC School Board race is getting HOT this weekend before the big vote.

Acting Cerritos Homeowners Alliance President Ben Ao has fired off an email tonight urging the defeat of ABC School Board Incumbents Celia Spitzer, Armin Reyes, Louise Dodson and Challenger Maynard Law. The Cerritos Homeowners Alliance has over 2,300 active voting members who oppose the current "Affordable Housing Project" between the City of Cerritos and ABC School District.

Here is a copy of Mr. Ao's letter to his Cerritos HOA Membership.

DEAR CERRITOS HOA MEMBER:
Do not vote for Dodson, Law, Reyes or Spitzer, because they take money and orders from special interest and they can't care about your money, your home or the future of your community even if they want to. Other reasons for change on the ABC School Board include:1. Ms Cecy Groom, the only ABC School Board Member identified by the special interest as the ally of the people, is now retiring. 2. The current School Board has mismanaged the District's finances and ABC schools. Some ABC schools are among the worst in California. 3. The current School Board is behind the monstrous low income housing project that will force Cerritos taxpayers to transfer over $180 million to ABC School District over the next 55 years.

Ben Ao
Acting President Cerritos Homeowners Alliance

Ao also urges his membership to Vote for Sally Havice, Paul Kahng, David Shaffer and Sophia Tse, "because they care about your money, your home and the future of your community."
The Cerritos HOA had tremendous success during the last Cerritos City Council election when they supported winners Joseph Cho and Bruce Barrows. Could this make two election wins in a row for the Cerritos HOA?

AFL-CIO Snubbing of Law and Spitzer is a slap to ABCFT's Laura Rico

Hey, it's me... RANDY ECONOMY, America's Political Pirate it is now Saturday, November 03, 2007

One more thing about the "Union" supported candidates in the race for ABC School Board.

Laura Rico, (left) who is the President of the ABC Federation of Teachers, is also a Member of the National Board of Directors of the AFL-CIO.

Two of the candidates in which Rico and the ABCFT are bankrolling this election (Maynard Law and Celia Spitzer) were turned down for endorsement by the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor. This is a huge slap in the face for Ms. Rico and the ABCFT.

Don't be confused when the Union Teachers knock on your door this weekend. Two of their candidates, are not backed by the AFL-CIO.
